Navigating your Power Wheelchair can be hard, let us help!

After working with Team Gleason for a summer internship our group members saw a lack of understanding and organization of power wheelchairs. In order to help caregivers and people living with ALS better understand and troubleshoot common issues they are having with their wheelchairs, we created ChairPALS. ChairPALS is an integrated learning and organization system to prevent any unnecessary power wheelchair problems that could lead to the wheelchair being un-usable for extended periods of time. Our product includes a physical organization system made up of color labels and protective cable hubs, in addition to our website used for teaching pALS and cALS about the different cables and functions of their wheelchair.
